Hi there!
So… This is what I’m working on from the past (almost) two months. Almost every f***** single minute of my free time. There’s a lot of work to do yet and I’m having hard times trying to make this thing without blue print, it’s almost a scratch made thing, and I’m planning to rebuild the full interior too (LHD!!!!). I know is not very accurate, but I think it’s ok.
But I’m not here (only) to complain and show photos. I need some help to find the detailed specs. Since it raced in Deutsch DRM late in 70’s it’s hard to find good info about it. In english. So if there are some good german souls here, please help me on this.

What exactly do you need to have translated?
I can imagine you need the Dimensions which are:
Wheelbase: 2407mm
Length: 4570mm
Width: 1850mm
Heigth: 1284mm
Weight: 886kg
It also has a 5 Speed Manual Transmission with 90% Lock Differential and a max speed of 270 km/h at the longest Gear Ratio.
The wheels are 10.0/22.5-15″ in the Front on 11×15″ inch rims and 12.5/23.5-16″ on 13×16″ rims in the Back.
I did not translate all the Suspension Setup because I don’t really know how this would help creating the car, but if you still want me to translate that let me know 😛

Thank you Grantelb4rt! Can you tell me what the part with 1620/1700mm mean? It mentions the type of suspension front/rear? And the last thing, it mentions something about the turbo? Thanks!

The 1620/1700mm is the track width on front and rear (1620 front, 1700 rear)
Sadly there is mentioned nothing about the Turbo, but with a little bit of research I found a specsheed of the Zakspeed Capri which seems to have, when driven in the less than 2l displacement class, the same engine as the Escort (Same displacement and bore), just with more HP.
The Zakspeed Capri uses an KKK K27 Turbocharger and an Air to Air intercooler system which produces 450 HP at 9200 rpm and 1,6 bar of boost. Concidering the Escort ‘only’ does 380 HP at 9000 rpm I would guess it has a boost of something in the neighbourhood of 1 bar.

In this PDF (http://www.zakspeed.de/gallery/downloads/2012_11_powerslide.pdf) is said that the 1.4l engine has been tested in the Group 5 Escort before with 380 hp and 1,3 bar boost. I know you don’t understand anything of it because its German, but that is what I read there ^^
I don’t know why there is no Info about the Turbo in the specsheed you got, that suprises me aswell.

I think it’s nearly impossible to find such photos. I’ll try to contact the car owner from that pdf at some point. The sounds unfortunately depends on the kindness of someone else. would be awesome to have such sounds in this car for sure.
